CNA Results

It's official. I am a registered Utah CNA! :)! Found out about 130 this morning....:). I had been checking this website all this past week, with no luck. I gave myself a pity party; got over it by the weekend fully prepared to fail. Received the notice that I had passed my written test on Saturday with the mail and then saw my name on the website tonight! If you type in ALPERT CORINNE, you'll find my name on the list! :)!!! Thanks to everyone who supported me and quizzed me! :)

ccCNA

Hello blog readers!

So, I took my Utah state CNA test*both written and skills* on Thurs, April 15...weird day in my book....take your CNA test on Tax day *shudders*. I hope I did well! I'm waiting to hear back on my results either by mail(please big envelope) or on the Utah Nurse Registry website. We'll see....I'm trying REALLY hard not to bite my nails. So far, so good. That's the latest with me. Trips coming up? Colorado for my cousin Brian's college graduation. October will be a big month with my high school reunion and a friends wedding.

On top of everything, I'm in the process of moving out and finding a new job....whew....life is a whirlwind, but God is ever faithful to provide :)

My career...

Alright, so some of you know that I have wanted to be a nurse for quite sometime. Plans and money and timing has just fallen through. School (Gen Eds) have just not worked out(including this semester...again). So, my best friend Eliza sent along a link to me CCCNA and I signed up for it! I start February 22, 2010! They sent us a 19 page packet of vocabulary and things to know before we even START! Holy cow!!! So, my free time has found me making flash cards and studying...sheesh! LOL! Well, I signed up for this...it's time to get this going, I guess. Hold me in your prayers as I take on my dream! :)

28th year

So, it's so crazy to think I turned 28 on Sat, Jan 9th. Where has my life gone? I remember my first day of Kindergarten, moving to San Diego, meeting Eliza at the lunch tables in 7th grade, graduating High School, doing my Tommy play and then moving to Utah. I feel like these past years have flown by where as looking back to Kindergarten, I remember thinking graduating high school was still so far away. And here, my 10 year reunion is this year! Wow!!!

God has been sooooo good to me! :) I have an amazing family who loves me despite my quirks, friends whom I wouldn't trade the world for, a church who has made me feel so welcome and loved I still can't hardly believe that I've only been there a year, and the sweetest niece and nephews any Auntie could ask for.

I've had some trials in my life, but who doesn't? What ever doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I've lost loved ones, gained loved ones and all the while I've grown so much....not just physically(a half inch ;)! ), but, spiritually and emotionally. I discovered my most amazing love Relationship that will be with me until the end of time, picked up my life and moved three states away to start a life pleasing to God and work on His Will. Proverbs 16:9 says, "In his heart, a man plans his course; but, the Lord determines his steps." That's what's happening with me, that's for sure.
